BIOSEED RESEARCH PHILIPPINES, INC. (BIOSEED) is subsidiary of BIOSEEDS INTERNATIONAL, Mauritius which belongs to the DCM SHRIRAM CONSOLIDATED LIMITED (DSCL) group based in India. DSCL, a part of the SHRIRAM group founded in the year 1989, is today a US$ 550 million group and occupies a unique and distinct position in the Indian Corporate scene. DSCL’s venture into biotechnology is a natural corollary to the group’s involvement businesses.

The core objective of BIOSEED is the use of genetic tools for agricultural improvement. Keeping this in mind, BIOSEED started its research operations in India, Vietnam, Thailand, the USA, Indonesia and the Philippines. BIOSEED today, has research / testing locations around the globe with over 45 agricultural scientists engaged in the hybrid development program of different crops.

The Chromosome emphasizes that our business is focused on the application of science of genetics. Globe is indicative of the importance we place on the knowledge of agroclimatic conditions in a mega environment – a knowledge we use to serve the agroclimatic conditions of specific micro-environments with appropriate local products.

The male and female signs signify the importance we place on the appropriate genetic use of opposite sexes during the research and production of our products to maximize heterosis.
